Job summary
Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI seeks a fellowship-trained Medical Retina Specialist to join our established retinal practice, including two full-time retinal surgeons. The position is based in Eau Claire and collaborates closely with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
The successful candidate will provide outpatient medical retinal services and may perform cataract evaluations and surgery if desired. Teaching and research opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Fellowship training in vitreoretinal disease is required.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Provide outpatient medical retinal services.
- Option to perform cataract evaluations and surgery.
- Participate in general ophthalmology call coverage (1 in 6 weeks).
- Limited inpatient care for general ophthalmology patients.
- Opportunity for teaching, academic involvement and research.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient medical retinal care to patients.

- Participate in on-call coverage (1 in 6 weeks).
