Universal Health Services (UHS) Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Medical Records Technician to handle receipt and preparation of medical records materials, ensure accurate discharge record abstracts, and maintain strict confidentiality in line with ANA standards and hospital policy.
The role supports both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services, with emphasis on organized records management and compliance across enterprise policies.
The Medical Records Technician is responsible for receipt and preparation of all materials related to internal and external correspondence and requests for medical records information. Abstracts and assembles patient discharge records in accordance with established policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of medical records.Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for youth ages 5-17, as well as inpatient, patial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adults ages 18+.
