The 99th Medical Group at Nellis AFB, NV, is seeking a Medical Records Technician (Inpatient Coder III) under the Military Treatment Facilities under DHA. About the Position: This position is located at the 99th Medical Group at Nellis AFB, NV. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Use a practical knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical and surgical procedures interprets and extracts data from component parts of clinical records to assign appropriate codes.
