Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Medical Coder to review medical records for completeness and accuracy, ensuring proper identifiers, dates, and reports are documented. The role requires knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, CDT coding and adherence to current guidelines.

The coder will evaluate documentation for medical necessity and modifier usage, assess E/M levels, and assign codes across ICD, CPT, HCPCS, CDT, and DSM based on the records provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical coding and auditing.
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, CDT coding.
• Knowledge of E/M guidelines.

Assigns and sequences ICD, CPT, HCPCS, CDT, and DSM codes based on documented diagnoses and procedures.

Ensures diagnostic and procedural terminology aligns with current medical nomenclature and official coding guidelines.
