Job summary

Centurion, LLC is seeking a Medical Records Supervisor for Martin Correctional Institution in Indiantown, FL. The role directs the medical records program, supervises staff and oversees confidentiality of health records within a correctional facility.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, and EMR experience, with preference for supervisory background in medical records and terminology knowledge. The schedule is 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required; additional medical terminology knowledge is a plus.
• EMR experience and familiarity with medical records workflows are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, coordinate and administer the written and electronic medical records program.
• Supervise medical records staff and manage department operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of health care records in compliance with policies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records and documentation.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.

We are currently seeking a full-time Medical Records Supervisor to join our team at Martin Correctional Institution located in Indiantown, FL.

The Medical Records Supervisor will be responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the written and electronic medical records program. The Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and managing department operations and maintaining a complete, accurate healthcare record. This person will supervise the medical records staff and maintain the confidentiality of the health care records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years' supervisory experience in Medical Records setting preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
• EMR experience preferred
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

7:00am - 4:00pm; Monday- Friday
