Job summary

Qualifications

• This position may require background investigation suitability or fitness determination.
• Pre-employment physical examination and annual examinations may be required to ensure health and fitness.

Responsibilities

• Complete registration in the system and verify/update patient insurance.
• Manage phone calls, correspondence and daily face-to-face interactions with customers.
• Track and compile reports for HIPAA inquiries.
• Extract medical information from medical records to process requests.
• Coordinate with the Office of the Judge Advocate General on legal implications.
• Prepare medical records for retirement and process per guidance.
• Transfer medical records and request records from other facilities.
• Prepare materials using various computer programs.
• Perform weekly random audits and distribute results.
• Ensure patient travel requests are processed timely and accurately.
