Innovative Ventures in Burr Ridge, IL, affiliated with Metro Infectious Disease Consultants, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Records Clerk to maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of patient records. You will manage EHRs, scan and index documents, and process third-party record requests in compliance with HIPAA.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with experience in medical records management and payer portals preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience in medical records management preferred.
• Experience working in payer portals preferred.
• Vaccination proof may be required for immunocompromised patients.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, organize, and update patient medical records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Scan, index, and upload patient documents including referrals, lab reports, hospital records, imaging reports, and provider correspondence.
• Review records for completeness and accuracy and identify missing documentation.
• Process, invoice, and track payments for third‑party medical record requests and ensure timely completion.
