Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records/Intake Clerk to support the operation of the outpatient records program in Kentucky. You will assist in planning, organizing, and evaluating processes, ensuring accurate and complete client files, and coordinating scheduling and communications with clinicians and staff.

Responsibilities include coding diagnoses in medical records, maintaining confidentiality, processing billing documents, and providing coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; strong computer and typing skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to pass criminal record and drug screening.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating the Medical Records/Intake program.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of all client files.
• Code diagnoses and ensure current diagnoses in the medical record.
• Schedule appointments and greet consumers in a friendly manner.
• Process billing documents and ensure required fields are completed.
