Akumin, a leading outpatient radiology and oncology provider, seeks a Medical Records Clerk for our Plantation facility. The role entails handling records requests from providers, patients, and insurers, and supporting Front Office and Scheduling teams.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years in medical records distribution; college or technical certification is preferred. Benefits include competitive compensation and flexible scheduling.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college/technical certificate preferred.
• 1-2 years in distributing medical records to the public or providers is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Process medical records requests via email, fax, and mail per release.
• Document payments for records requests from law offices.
• Support Scheduling and Front Office teams; greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and enter patient data.
• Collect and distribute mail within the clinic.
