Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of supervisory experience in a medical records setting preferred.
• CPR certification required or actively certified.
• EMR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (background check/drug screen).

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a fulltime Medical Records Director to join our team at Decatur Correctional Center located in Decatur, Illinois.The Medical Records Director at Vienna Correctional Center is responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the written and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program.
