The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage inmate and detainee medical records. You will file and attach records, obtain physician signatures, and provide records to health providers and staff, while coordinating appointments and generating monthly statistics.

This full-time role at GEO Secured Services offers responsibilities that ensure accurate record-keeping, confidentiality, and efficient record management in a correctional healthcare setting.

Formación

• Solid organizational and communication skills required.
• Must be able to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with medical records or healthcare documentation is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• File medical records in alphabetical order using color-coded system.
• Attach medical information by date of incarceration or service.
• Obtain physician signatures on diagnostic studies.
• Provide records as requested by health providers and administrative staff.
• Schedule appointments with outside consulting health professionals.
• Prepare monthly statistics.
• Perform secretarial duties.
