Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our team at Potosi Correctional Center in Mineral Point, MO.

The role involves initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to health record requests, and handling clerical duties in a busy correctional health environment. Shift is Monday-Friday, days, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support Certification.
• Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred.
• Computer/Data Entry experience.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Initiate and maintain offender health records.
• Respond to requests for health records.
• Perform clerical duties in a healthcare setting.
• Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure accuracy and continuity of care.
