Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Medical Records Clerk for the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville, TN. The role focuses on initiating and maintaining offender health records, handling requests, and performing clerical tasks to support continuity of care.

The position is day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, with pay ranging from $19 to $23 per hour based on experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of medical office experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge and/or coursework preferred.
• Computer/Data Entry experience is expected.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain offender health records.
• Respond to requests for health records from appropriate parties.
• Perform clerical duties to support health records management.
• Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure accuracy and accountability of records.
