Qualifications

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, and update resident medical records in both electronic and paper formats.
• Ensure all medical documentation is complete, accurate, and filed promptly.
• Process admissions, discharges, and transfers by preparing and organizing required documentation.
• Respond to requests for medical records in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
• Scan, index, and archive medical documents.
• Assist nursing and administrative staff with record retrieval and documentation needs.
• Monitor charts for completeness and notify appropriate staff of missing documentation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of resident information.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
