Job summary

Franklin Heights Nursing is seeking a dedicated Central Supply/Medical Records Clerk to join our Texas facility. You will organize and maintain medical records, ensure accuracy from admission to discharge, support policy development, and keep an accessible system for staff use.

You will also conduct quarterly chart audits, manage supplies and participate in secretarial duties for meetings. Strong attention to detail and knowledge of medical terminology are essential.

Qualifications

• Organize and maintain the facility’s medical records system in compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
• Code and quantify records from admission to discharge.
• Assist in developing medical record policies and procedures.
• Keep a documented, organized system that is readily accessible by staff.

Responsibilities

• Prov ide minutes and secretarial duties for designated meetings.
• Perform quarterly resident chart audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Order, receive, stock, and dispense departmental supplies while maintaining an accurate inventory.
