Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Medical Assistant or CNA training program
• Active CMA, CMOA, or CNA certification required
• Strong computer proficiency and data entry

Responsibilities

• Review electronic clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and required information.
• Prepare, scan, and attach documents to the EMR.
• Process and distribute incoming faxes and medical documentation.
• Maintain filing systems, reports, and deadlines with strong time management.
• Process requests for health records accurately and timely.
• Update patient medical orders and test results in the EMR.
• Review active patient charts for compliance with agency policies.
• Obtain required patient signatures and documentation.
• Support front office staff and daily clinic operations as needed.
