Crossing Hurdles is seeking an Internal Medicine Hospitalist for a remote contract role. You will review medical records for AI training, verify information is supported by the records, and assess inpatient documentation.

The role focuses on ensuring accurate HPI, PMH, medications, and care plans, with feedback to improve AI data quality. Commitment 10-40 hours per week, hourly pay $80–$125.

Competenze

• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine.
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.

Position: Internal Medicine Hospitalist

Type: Contract

Compensation: $80 - $125/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience in the domain.


• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine (or Internal Medicine with a Hospital Medicine focused practice designation).


• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows, including admission, daily progress notes, transitions of care, and discharge.


• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.


• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
