Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England's Pulmonology & Infectious Disease Specialty Practice is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join a fast-paced team. You will register patients, collect co-pays, and schedule appointments while supporting internal and external clients with clerical tasks.

You will be comfortable learning new software, entering data into billing systems, and ensuring a positive patient experience from first contact through visit completion. Scheduling for physicians is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.

You would be responsible for the accurate registration, co-pay collection and scheduling of patients within the practices. Assists internal and external customers with all clerical tasks within the office.

What You Will Do

• Be comfortable with learning new software and ensuring data entry into physician billing software.
• Provides positive patient experience from screening incoming patient calls to end of visit.
• Maintain schedules and appointments for physicians.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred. Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.

Pay Range: $17.50 - $23.80

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
