Medical Receptionist - Part-time/As needed

Here at Mt. Naomi, we strive to provide outstanding health care to women of all ages. Our Reception team must be friendly, professional, outgoing, proactive, and able to deal with stressful situations on the fly.

We are looking for a Part-time/PRN (as needed) employee. Hours may vary week to week, anywhere from 8 to 24 hours.

Due to the investment involved in training for this position, we ask for a 1-year minimum commitment to this position.

Pay is dependent on experience, with the potential to become a full-time position if desired.

Receptionist Job Duties:

  1. Must be able to work shifts between 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
  2. Must be highly motivated and consistently contribute to a positive working environment.
  3. Must maintain a high quality and volume of answered phone calls.
  4. Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answers inquiries.
  5. Schedules appointments for multiple providers/locations.
  6. Understands billing policies and collects payments for services rendered.
  7. Updates and maintains all patient registration records.
  8. Maintains provider schedules between four offices.
  9. Directs all visitors to appropriate departments.
  10. Monitors and maintains office equipment.
  11. Cleans front reception area.
  12. Maintains HIPAA compliance.
  13. Prepares correspondence and documents.
  14. Provides general clerical and administrative support to all levels of professionals.
  15. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related goals.
