A leading health organization seeks a Medical Receptionist in Denver to provide exceptional patient experiences through accurate check-in/check-out processes. Anticipated Closing Date : 06 / 07 / 2025 Position : Medical Receptionist Reports to : Health Center Manager Position Starting Salary Range : $ - $ hour Hourly, Non-Exempt Schedule : Full Time, ~ 35 hours per week Week 1 : Wed & Thurs : 8 : 30am - 6 : 30pm Fri : 7 : 30am - 5 : 30pm Sat : 8am - 3pm Week 2 : Wed & Thurs : 8 : 30am - 6 : 30pm Fri : 7 : 30am - 5 : 30pm Sat : 7 : 30am - 2 : 30pm The Objective : To be the face of the health center, setting the first and last impression for patients and providing them with welcoming, accurate, and safe check-in and check-out experiences.
Success : You will know you are successful when the check-in and check-out experience facilitates an accurate medical record, excellent patient experience, and optimized billing.
Snapshot : You will spend much of your day sitting and working on the computer, moving around the health center as needed, and collaborating with colleagues and interacting with patients and community members. You will work with the patient chart, insurance, and billing and will need to handle sensitive information with care and accuracy, and you will need to handle cash and other payment methods. You will be required to operate in a highly regulated medical and laboratory environment, keeping strict confidentiality, infection control, and medical protocols. You will lift boxes and unpack supplies. You will work with vulnerable patient populations.

Primary Areas of Responsibility / Essential Functions :
Medical Reception : You will be the face of the health center, welcoming patients and visitors, upholding security protocols, and facilitating accurate patient records and billing.
Operations : You will assist with the upkeep of the health center operations in a variety of ways to facilitate all aspects of patient care, maintaining an organized and effective worksite, and jump in to support the team.
Abortion Care : We all work in abortion care, whether it is referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc. In this role, you will provide direct care and services for patients who have or may be seeking abortion care with PPRM.
