  • Position Summary:

    The receptionist supports office operations, working independently and with staff to provide efficient, cost-effective, quality patient care.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Promoting a healthy work environment
    • Collaborating with CNY Family Group
    • Reviewing CCDs and routing to appropriate team members
    • Communicating regularly with management about goals and concerns
    • Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls
    • Scanning and faxing documentation
  • Performance Criteria:
    • Ensure a streamlined patient experience
    • Maintain accurate schedules based on provider preferences
    • Meet performance measures and complete tasks on time
    • Work collaboratively with staff and management
  • Communication:
    • Maintain confidentiality of patient, family, and employee information
    • Answer and route calls appropriately
    • Use proper diction and grammar
  • Customer Service:
    • Maintain professionalism and tact
    • Remain courteous and calm during interruptions
    • Adhere to confidentiality policies
  • Service Skills:
    • Distribute messages, packages, supplies
    • Support daily operations
    • Maintain a safe environment
  • Equipment:
    • Competency with PC, telephone, copier, email, fax
  • Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; business or secretarial training a plus
