The Business Service Representative (BSR) performs administrative support tasks within a physician practice or clinical area. The role involves managing patient flow and handling all business functions such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, patient registration, insurance verification, copay collections, pre-certifications, prior authorizations, referrals, chart preparation, managing faxes, and providing clerical support to providers and staff.
