Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Clarksville, TN. Job Summary

The Medical Receptionist will greet patients, activate files, and support both patients and staff. Full-time roles involve rotating 36-40 hour weeks with 12-hour weekday shifts and alternate weekends. PRN staff work on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer inquiries, and guide them through registration.
• Manage multi-line phones, file, fax, scan documents, and handle patient callbacks.
• Check-in and discharge patients, assist clinical staff, and close the office at shift end.
• Collect insurance info, verify demographics, process payments, and post balances.
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Previous experience in a medical office preferred.
