MMA & Sports Rehab is seeking a warm, professional, and organized **Full-Time (Hourly) Medical Receptionist** to join our busy and patient-focused **physical therapy clinic**. You will be the face of our clinic, responsible for creating a welcoming environment while efficiently managing front desk operations The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enthusiastic about promoting patient engagement and clinic growth.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1+ years of front desk or administrative experience in a physical therapy or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with physical therapy terminology and procedures (preferred)
  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., WebPT, Clinicient, Prompt) is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • Experience using Canva is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule and confirm physical therapy appointments
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to staff
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and handle pre-authorizations
  • Collect co-pays and maintain accurate billing information
  • Manage patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Assist in drafting marketing emails, newsletters, and promotional materials for patients and clients
  • Perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, answering the telephone, or taking messages
  • Assist patients with paperwork when necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and appearance of the clinic
