Registration Associate (Medical Receptionist) - Urology Office - Albany

What you will do:

The Registration Associate acts as the receptionist for the office and is often the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff. This role involves coordinating the flow of information positively and efficiently. Candidates should possess computer skills and have pleasant phone manners. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Checking in/out patients
  • Insurance verification
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Medical record maintenance
  • Supply monitoring and ordering
  • Answering phones
  • Data entry

Minimum qualifications:

  • High School diploma / GED required
  • At least two years of work experience in a health-related setting
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Pay Range: $17.50 - $21.80 per hour

Pay is determined based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary based on location.
