Position Summary

The Medical Receptionist is the first in-person point of contact for patients at the medical practice. They are responsible for all front office duties assigned by the clinic, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation, and operating basic office equipment. This is an intermediate position requiring excellent customer service skills, discretion, good judgment, professionalism, and a clear phone voice. Internal and external contacts include patients, families, co-workers, physicians, and the public.

Requirements
  • Post-high school office procedures preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six (6) months in a medical setting
  • Customer service experience
  • Degree or relevant certificate (e.g., Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may substitute for experience

Pay and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay range is $20.07 - $28.87 USD, influenced by experience, skills, certifications, and education. Pay may also reflect union contracts where applicable.
