Job summary

University Radiology is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist for our Teaneck, NJ Imaging Office, handling front-desk duties and patient check-in.

Typical schedule includes Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:30am-5:00pm and Tuesday/Thursday 9:30am-6:00pm, plus one Saturday per month; sign-on bonus offered for eligible new hires.

We value excellent communications, data accuracy, and courteous service; strong computer literacy and a positive attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

University Radiology is the largest privately-owned provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ. We are comprised of more than 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

University Radiology is looking for a full-time Medical Receptionists for our Teaneck, NJ Imaging Office.

Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm

Tuesday & Thursday: 9:30am-6:00pm

1 Saturday per month

• Greet and check in patients
• Confirm/enter patient demographic information
• Validate appointment against the prescription
• Collect payments in accordance with payment policies

*May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
