Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Receptionist role located in Westerville, OH. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, warmly greeting visitors, checking them in, and verifying demographic and insurance information. Daily responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, managing appointment scheduling, confirming and rescheduling visits, and handling patient inquiries in a professional manner. The role also involves maintaining an organized front desk area, processing patient paperwork, collecting copays, and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow. The Medical Receptionist will use medical office systems to enter data accurately, protect patient confidentiality, and support other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Receptionist Duties skills, including greeting patients, managing check-in/check-out, and maintaining a professional front desk presence.
  • Candidates should possess Appointment Scheduling skills and be comfortable using scheduling software to manage, confirm, and adjust patient appointments.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Phone Etiquette skills, including clear communication, courteous service, and efficient routing of calls and messages.
