Job description

We are a cutting-edge women's diagnostic facility offering unique technology and expertise, providing an exceptional patient experience in Manhattan's East Side. Our services include painless breast mammography, a full range of ultrasound services, and genetic testing. We are scheduled to open in mid-July 2025.

Position: Full-Time Medical Receptionist

Responsibilities include:

  1. Handling incoming patient calls, physician referrals, and correspondence.
  2. Scheduling appointments for diagnostic services to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  3. Preparing patients for visits with clear pre-appointment instructions.
  4. Managing appointment confirmations to reduce no-shows.
  5. Greeting and registering patients professionally, utilizing digital registration and forms where possible.
  6. Verifying insurance information and explaining payment policies.
  7. Collecting and processing payments.
  8. Managing electronic health records.
  9. Coordinating with clinical staff for seamless patient flow.
  10. Maintaining office supplies and equipment.
  11. Ensuring compliance with healthcare privacy regulations.
  12. Creating a positive first impression and managing the patient experience from inquiry to service completion.
  13. Tracking and ordering supplies and maintaining the office environment to reflect our bespoke service levels.
