Addison Group is partnering with a well-established outpatient surgical center in Golden, CO to hire a Medical Receptionist. This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offers a stable Monday-Friday schedule with long-term growth potential and a collaborative, supportive team environment.

Job Description :

The Admissions Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth surgical scheduling, patient intake, and financial coordination. This individual will work closely with medical and administrative staff to manage surgery schedules, communicate changes, collect payments, and assist patients with insurance-related questions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and confirm surgery schedules with physicians and staff
  • Communicate updates or changes to all relevant departments
  • Distribute final schedules to internal teams
  • Support billing and collections, including collecting co-pays and deductibles
  • Provide patient education about financial responsibilities and billing
  • Handle patient inquiries regarding insurance, payments, and authorizations
  • Assist with maintaining and organizing medical records
  • Perform general administrative tasks and provide clerical support

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
  • Proficiency in using EMRs and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and billing concepts
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
  • Comfortable discussing insurance authorizations and payments with patients
  • Quick learner with a positive, flexible attitude
  • Assignment Type : Contract-to-hire (720 hours)
  • Parking : Free onsite parking

  • Reporting To : Business Office Manager
  • Start Date : ASAP
