University Health Services is seeking a Medical Program Assistant with administrative experience in a healthcare setting, diversity in customer service, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to join our team to support students, providers, and mental health services.
Performs administrative duties to support providers, staff, services, and unit programs. May serve as the primary contact or customer service representative and subject matter expert. Tracks, prioritizes, organizes, and completes multiple ongoing clinical, research or academic projects.

- Minimum of one year customer service experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
Preferred:
- Experience with MS Office, multiple computer platforms, and scheduling software
- Experience with electronic health record scheduling software
- Administrative experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with a variety of internal and external contacts
- Ability to work independently and to problem-solve
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in a busy environment
- Experience working with under-represented groups
- Awareness of varied and unique perspectives in the workplace
8:30AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday
Full Time: 100%
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Subject to change based on operational needs.
