Job summary

Printpack's Medical Division seeks Product Development Engineer I or II to advance blown film and converted products. Role may locate in Atlanta, GA, Marshall, NC, or Tijuana, MX, reporting to the Product Development Manager.

Coordinate with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely commercialization and robust product performance, lead technical calls, and support trials as the primary contact for assigned customers.

Qualifications

• Product development experience in packaging or related industry.
• Experience coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Strong data gathering, analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver business results.
• Experience in process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and cross-functionally with internal teams for commercialization of new products.
• Design and validate specifications to meet use and manufacturing needs; collect data for success.
• Lead customer technical calls and trials to expedite commercialization.
• Serve as primary technical contact for assigned customers; provide onsite support for trials.
• Support manufacturing needs for existing specs and assist with root cause investigations.
• Lead divisional initiatives on new converting and raw material technology.
• Embrace an innovative, collaborative environment and provide strong customer service.
