Medical Policy Research Analyst
Remote
The medical policy research analyst is responsible for identifying, appraising, and summarizing scientific literature, clinical practice guidelines, and state and federal health policies to develop and implement Providence Health Plan (PHP) & Providence Health Assurance (PHA) medical policies. These policies serve as the basis for coverage decisions made by internal clinical staff and external providers. Primary responsibilities include critically evaluating current peer-reviewed scientific evidence to assess the safety and efficacy of medical devices, procedures, services, and laboratory testing.
