Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in medical physics or closely related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical radiation physics.
• For non-certified candidates, board eligibility and certification within three years.
• Candidates must maintain certification and Florida medical physics license (TRP or MPT).
• Experience in proton therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design optimization and technical evaluation of radiation plans.
• Ensure precise and safe delivery of treatments for patients.
• Provide coverage in instrumentation, calibration, planning, dosimetry, and QA.
• Support safety programs and compliance including OSHA and HIPAA.
