Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Certified Medical Physicist to join a dedicated Radiation Oncology team. You will design, optimize, and deliver advanced treatment plans and provide technical leadership in QA and radiation safety, collaborating with physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and leaders.

The role emphasizes calibration, brachytherapy oversight, QA programs, QA documentation, and the adoption of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution (verification).
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology Physics or equivalent; licensure as required.
• Ability to obtain RAM license for HDR; strong regulatory awareness.
• Knowledge of Oncology Information Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans for accuracy and safety.
• Provide expert guidance on procedures, technologies, and treatment delivery.
• Lead QA programs and radiation safety initiatives with clinical teams.
• Coordinate with RSO on brachytherapy licenses and regulatory compliance.
• Support new tech adoption and process improvements to improve outcomes.
