Job summary

Tennessee Oncology, a leading community-based cancer care network, seeks a Medical Physicist to ensure safe, accurate delivery of radiation therapy. Responsibilities include treatment planning support, QA, image-guided RT, and regulatory compliance within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Radiological Physics, Physics, or related discipline.
• Board certification by ABR or ABMP in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or Radiological Physics, or board-eligible.
• At least two years of post-degree clinical experience in therapeutic medical physics.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA, calibration, and commissioning of delivery systems per national guidelines.
• Develop and review patient treatment plans, dose distributions, and verifications.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain APEx, NRC, and other required records.
• Provide clinical guidance to radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists on complex cases.
