Job summary

EMFOI INC is seeking a Medical Physicist to join our San Francisco team. You will lead medical physics testing, perform annual equipment certifications, and oversee radiation safety quality assurance across X-Ray, CT, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and DEXA facilities.

The role requires Active ABR/ABMP certification in Diagnostic Radiological Physics, ACR/FDA Mammography qualification, and CT/PET/CT/SPECT/CT accreditation.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Medical Physics, Health Physics, or related STEM discipline.
• Active ABR or ABMP Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiological Physics.
• ACR/FDA Mammography qualified; accredited for CT, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and lead construction.
• Must supply own phantoms and specialized testing tools.
• Ability to pass a VA NACI/NACLC background screening.
• Location: San Francisco Bay Area proximity preferred for rapid emergency dispatch.
