Medical Physicist
Location: Georgia

This is a hospital-based clinic treating 25-30 external beam patients per day. Provides compassionate care to patients with the highest safety standards. Located in a scenic mid-size community with many recreational activities available. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Your Typical Day

• This Physicist’s primary responsibility will be to install, project manage, and lead the clinic’s new HDR brachytherapy program featuring an Elekta Flexitron afterloader with Oncentra treatment planning.
• Friendly and collegial team with longevity and stability.
• Join a team of 1 additional Physicist, 2 Dosimetrists, 6 Therapists, and 2 Physicians.

Background/Profile

• ABR Board Certification required.
• Training and current experience with Elekta HDR brachytherapy is required.
• Experience with Monaco & MIM treatment planning highly preferred.
