Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse in Medical Oncology at Cape May. The RN will collaborate with physicians and the care team to manage inpatient, outpatient, and community-based care, following the nursing process and ensuring alignment with the treatment plan.

Responsibilities include assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluations, with emphasis on education and patient empowerment. Prior experience in oncology care and BLS/ACLS as applicable is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi state license.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) to develop and implement plans of care.
• Provide culturally competent care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
• Lead and support performance improvement initiatives within the patient care team.
