Job summary

Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a full-time medical oncology faculty member for a 12-month appointment. The position may be tenure-track or non-tenure track (clinical) depending on experience and interests.

Responsibilities include teaching professional students and residents, providing clinical service, and pursuing research collaborations within the Oncology Service and CVM. Alabama licensure is required.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree by start of employment.
• Residency training in ACVIM/ECVIM-Oncology completed or in progress.
• Diplomate of ACVIM/ECVIM-Oncology or eligible to sit for the specialty exam.
• Eligibility for faculty veterinary licensure in Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Teach professional students and residents through clinical and didactic activities in medical oncology.
• Provide clinical service and contribute to research/scholarly activity; collaborate with hospital services.
• Coordinate with the Oncology Service and other CVM departments; duties negotiable based on appointment type.
