Job summary

MyMichigan Health, an affiliate of the University of Michigan Health, invites BE/BC hematology/oncology physicians to Alpena, Michigan. The busy practice includes one other full-time physician, with outreach 2–4 days monthly to MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas.

Qualifications

• U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
• Board eligible or board-certified
• Completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology
• Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Michigan and a Controlled Substance License

Responsibilities

• Provide hematology/oncology care in a busy practice at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena
• Outreach to MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas 2–4 days per month
• Collaborate with on-site radiation oncology and clinical staff within the Cancer service line

Education

MyMichigan Health, an affiliate of the University of Michigan Health, has an outstanding opportunity for a Hematology/Oncology Physician in Alpena, Michigan. Open to both practicing physicians and recent/new graduates.

MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena is looking to add a BE/BC hematologist/oncologist to its established Cancer service line in beautiful Northern Michigan. A busy practice including one other full‑time physician. A second physician planning to retire in 2028. We offer on‑site radiation oncology and experienced clinical staff and colleagues. Position would include some outreach work at MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas (2‑4 days per month). Robust volumes and income potential with access to a comprehensive team of specialty care providers and services within the MyMichigan Health system. EPIC EHR.

• Schedule Traditional Monday through Friday with some flexibility

• Call 1:3 call

Requirements

• U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
