Moffitt Ambulatory Campus locations include Speros FL, Moffitt Cancer Center at SouthShore, Moffitt Cancer Center at Wesley Chapel, and Moffitt Cancer Center at International Plaza.
Candidates must be certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (or equivalent, as determined by the Medical Executive Committee) with special qualifications in hematology and/or medical oncology.
For hematology, the candidate should be an internist with additional approved training, specializing in diagnosing and treating malignant diseases of the blood, spleen, and lymph glands, utilizing therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted biologics for conditions like leukemia, lymphoma, and plasma cell neoplasms.
For medical oncology, the candidate should be an internist with additional approved training, specializing in diagnosing and treating various cancers of solid organs, using similar therapeutic approaches.
The physician will practice medicine within the scope of authority and privileges granted by Moffitt Cancer Center and will provide patient care as a member of the Moffitt Medical Group. The role may also involve clinical research and educational activities, supporting the institutional mission to contribute to the prevention and cure of cancer. The Chief will allocate effort across clinical, research, educational, and administrative activities.
