Job summary

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our Hematology Oncology team primarily supporting Monroe, MI.

Join a team of 8 Board Certified hematology-oncology physicians, certified nurses, and technologists in a supportive environment. The practice has a large referral base spanning 27 counties across northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan and offers a full range of consultative, inpatient and outpatient services, plus participation in NSABP, NCCTG and CALGB trials.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology Oncology.
• Current American Heart Association certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing CME and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range consultative, inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology services.
• Participate in industry sponsored and local community CCOP cooperative group clinical trials (NSABP, NCCTG, CALGB).
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty team and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Share call duties among physicians to maintain busy schedules with minimal ramp-up time.
