Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL invites a Hematology/Medical Oncology physician to join a growing regional program with practice autonomy and the support of a comprehensive cancer institute.

You will collaborate with surgery and oncology teams, participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards, and have the option to pursue subspecialty care one day per week at the OSF Cancer Institute in Peoria while helping develop cancer services in Galesburg.

Qualifications

• Physician licensed to practice in the USA with an unrestricted Illinois medical license.
• Licensed by the DEA and Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology; maintain privileges.
• Eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs.
• Meets OSF malpractice and liability coverage qualifications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state in the USA. Ability to hold an unrestricted Illinois medical license.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Medical Oncology. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Interest and experience in enrolling patients in clinical trials is welcome but not required
• Subspecialty interest can be accommodated 1 day per week but is not required
• Interest in program development and leadership

• Full-time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $575,000-$673,000.
• Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement
