Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Erie, PA is seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our Hillman Cancer Team. The candidate should have or obtain PA medical licensure and be board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.

Base salary is competitive with a $25K signing bonus and visa sponsorship available. The position offers outpatient and inpatient care, access to clinical trials, and a strong multidisciplinary team in a physician-led network.

Qualifications

• Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
• Eligibility for J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care and participate in clinical trials.
• Work with an integrated team of oncologists, APPs, nurses and support staff.
• Provide outpatient and inpatient consults with 8:00–16:30 schedule and shared on-call.

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Erie is currently seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our UPMC Hillman Cancer Team! We are seeking physicians with excellent clinical skills, interested in delivering high quality care and participating in numerous clinical trials available throughout the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network. Successful candidates should have or be able to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license and be board certified/board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Salary and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with experience.

The candidate will join the practice located near the UPMC Hamot campus, and offering the latest medical oncology treatments and clinical trials. Physicians in the practice are well supported as part of an integrated, physician-led network of clinicians. Work with an experienced team of medical oncologists/hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, lab, pharmacy and support staff. Enjoy unprecedented growth in a practice that includes outpatient and inpatient medical consults, chemotherapy, lab and supportive therapy visits. Care is provided in the clinic and hospital Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. On-call coverage is shared between physician colleagues.
