Position Overview: We are seeking a Medical Office Specialist to facilitate our patients' experience within our office. Responsibilities include check-in/check-out, collecting payments, scheduling, processing referrals, and communicating with referring offices.

About Us: The High Risk Pregnancy Center of Kansas City is a privately owned Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist serving patients from 17 counties across Kansas and Missouri. We provide care for expecting mothers with pre-existing medical conditions and fetal health monitoring through ultrasounds.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Processing referrals and scheduling with appropriate indications and protocols
  • Providing explanations and collecting payments
  • Professional verbal and written communication with patients, staff, and referring offices

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of relevant experience and/or training in a medical office
  • A welcoming, friendly personality with a customer service orientation
  • Ability to utilize critical thinking, multi-task, and collaborate effectively
