Medical Office Receptionist – Women’s Care Clinic – Full-Time, Days

Join us to apply for the Medical Office Receptionist – Women’s Care Clinic – Full-Time, Days role at Texas Health Resources.

Work location: 6300 W. Parker Road, Suite 126, Bldg. 2, Plano, TX 75093

Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm & Friday, 8:30am – 2:00pm

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Six months of medical clinic experience (preferred).
  • Six months of customer service experience in a business office (preferred).
  • Outgoing personality with a friendly attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization and billing processes.
  • Professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
  • Perform patient check-in and complete all necessary paperwork efficiently and in compliance with policies.
  • Answer and direct phone calls appropriately.
  • Schedule appointments following office guidelines.
  • Gather accurate patient and insurance information, collect copays and deductibles.
  • Scan and copy patient documents into electronic medical records.
  • Prepare charts for appointments, ensuring completeness.
  • Handle patient check-out, including pricing, payments, and follow-up scheduling.
  • Manage record filing and retrieval, including electronic documentation.
  • Confirm next-day appointments and inform patients of required documentation.
  • Follow up on missed appointments and communicate policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
