**Medical Office Receptionist – Heart & Vascular Specialists Clinic – Full-Time, Days**

Work location: 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Here’s What You Need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience in a medical clinic setting (preferred)
  • Six months of business office customer service experience (preferred)
  • Outgoing personality with a friendly attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy family practice/internal medicine clinic
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization and billing requirements
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Understanding of clinic procedures and regulatory standards
  • Strong work ethic and professionalism
  • Team player capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Do:

  • Provide patient care following the Medical Office Receptionist process
  • Perform patient check-in and complete necessary paperwork under supervision
  • Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
  • Schedule appointments according to clinic guidelines
  • Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, including copays and deductibles
  • Scan and copy relevant patient documents into the electronic medical record
  • Prepare charts for appointments ensuring completeness
  • Handle patient check-out duties, including pricing, payments, and scheduling follow-ups
  • Manage record filing and retrieval, including electronic documentation
  • Confirm next-day appointments and inform patients of documentation needs and payment details
  • Follow up on missed appointments and communicate accordingly
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
