**Medical Office Receptionist – Cardiac/Pulmonary/OP Rehab – Fulltime Days**

**Work location:** Texas Health Plano 6200 West Parker Road TX 75093
**Work hours:** Fulltime: Days Shift | Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 7:45am – 4:15pm & Tuesday, Friday from 7:45am – 11:45am for 32 hrs/ wk. Must be available for **1 week of system training** at 612 E Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011.
**Cardiac Rehab Department highlights:**
+ Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab is made up of a series of personalized, prescriptive activities related to critical heart and health function.
+ Busy outpatient clinic that assists with scheduling, benefit authorization and verification, registration, and collections.
+ Collaborative team focused on providing excellence care to our outpatient customers with the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population.

**Here’s What You Need:**
+ H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required
+ Associate's Degree preferred
+ Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
+ 1 Year experience in doctor’s office or outpatient medical clinic required
+ Microsoft Office proficiency.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Greets and receives all patients and visitors using service excellence standards in all interactions.
+ Schedules new and follow up outpatient appointments for all patient types according to established procedures.
+ Coordinate accurate patient data to determine financial obligations.
+ Prepares new patient charts with correct forms and patient identification.
+ Accurately and timely data entry into patient management, scheduling, point of service collections, insurance estimator, department databases and other THR information systems.
+ Informs and reminds patient each visit of financial responsibility using service excellence strategies for customer relations.
+ Verifies correct account information.
