Job description

Pay rate: $18 - $20 per hour

Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Some experience in a physician office environment is strongly preferred. Proficiency in typing, computer skills, and experience with EMR/Practice management software are also preferred.

Job Responsibilities: The Medical Receptionist welcomes patients with the highest standards of customer service, professionalism, courtesy, and respect. They work closely with patients, clinicians, and staff to ensure that patient and provider needs are met by accurately performing their duties. Responsibilities include screening for insurance eligibility, collecting co-pays at the time of service, and assisting with proper coding for services provided by the office staff and providers.
